Race, age, or gender don’t matter, everyone loves to escape the sad realities of life into the OASIS. The OASIS is this virtual reality universe created by James Holiday. However the majority of the movie doesn’t actually center on him, but rather his character “Parzival” in the online world “the OASIS”. The movie takes place in the year 2045 and centers on Wade Watts a young adult in his twenties, played by Tye Sheridan. Fantasy, science fiction, romance, and a dash of mystery and horror, collide in Steven Spielberg’s movie “Ready Player One”, a movie loosely based on Ernest Cline’s novel of the same name.
